I’m really curious as to how you knew what to change to make it work with Vista and now Windows 7 It’s totally great, whether I have Equalizer control or not. All times are GMT Quick but serious question: How are you getting them to work in the Windows 7 Beta? Works good, on Win7 32bit. They aren’t, however i recently found some MS drivers for Aureal Vortex 1,2 and 3.

Tested some of them without luck earlier tough. So it is most of all hardware problem of my speakers. Drivers work with Windows 7 Anonymous. Vizta not as vlsta with the AU as with the AU Im a cheap bastard, bought my Crosshair secondhand without the sound card add on thingy. I was hoping I wasn’t the only one out there still using this chipset.
The Vortex 2 chipset won numerous industry awards, and was used among other places in the Diamond Monster Sound MX, which achieved near-cult status with audiophiles and gamers for the high quality of au88830 positional audio. What I did for this new package was update all of the files with the XP and, where possible, Windows 7 versions. Best regards from Hungary!
I’ve been seeing some strange issues that appear to be related to this driver. You should maybe submit the fix to Softpedia, Major Geeks, BetaNews and other such sites so it is easy to find during google searches and the like. So, I found the last know drivers for XP — the 5. Then I checked the Action Center and it said there was a compatibility issue.
My Aureal SQ is work on windows 7, Yeaaaahhhh!!! More stable drivers have been posted; please see my other post. Specifically, the Windows paged pool on my system seems to be growing slowly over the course of several days from about MB up to 1.
I wanted so badly to use my old card with Windows 7 RC 32bit.
